DHracingteam wants to help YOU take the leap by making that first (or second) racing experience as stress free, safe and enjoyable as possible:
Our friends at Manly Warringah Cycling Club run Sydney’s best organised graded monthly road race under controlled road conditions at West Head and we’d love to see you out there.
If you have learnt how to ride in a bunch and can manage C28 pace, male or female, and over 16 you are ready...No race licence required!
For novice racers, teens (under 17 race for free) and those looking for the easiest of introductions we recommend C2 grade which is described as…
“C 2 Grade is for riders newer to racing and those who want to enjoy a competitive race in a less aggressive atmosphere. Focus is on race skills and camaraderie. 2 laps West Head - approx 45km”
More challenging grades available if you have tasted racing before….
All Come Try Road Racing starters will get our support through:
- The option of Car pool with one of the race team members or meet us at the sign on location
- Help with the sign on process
- Answers to your questions in the lead up to the race.
- We will be there to offer encouragement and advice at the start and finish line.
