Teschner Track Pro - Complete - Small
Hey all :) I am selling my track bike as unfortunately it has not seen any use since I left Sydney! I kept on hanging onto it hoping it would make its way back to the velodrome one day, particularly now that the Canberra drome has been resurfaced but it just hasn't happened. I'm sure I'll regret thi...

Re: Scott 24hr 2011
Absolutely! Or you could head on over to Silent Revolution and see if there are any gals there that need a team. There are some rad chicks over there that do lots of riding of bicycles and show up to lots of races and podium a fair amount :) I think Montana was in the process of finalising teams or ...

Wondering what this will be like... Not real keen on riding in a bunch of cyclists that don't really know how to ride, if you know what I mean? I appear to be more cautious of crashing on the road since the purchase of a carbon road bike that I love...

WHat to do with old tyres and tubes?
So now that I am packing my life into boxes, I am forced to do some things that I have been putting off... Like dealing with the old has been tyres and tubes floating around in my gear room. I have some tyres are really not usable anymore (teared sidewall etc) so I can't give them away or donate the...

I have a crap load of tubes that need to be patched. Try to decide if I patch them before leaving, box them up and patch them later, or auction them off to someone looking for points?

Re: Mid Life Crisis Bike
As I just bought a new road bike recently, some of the consideration I deem to be important are fresh in my mind. The first decision for me was a geometry based one. Do I need a racey geometry (typically defined by shorter head tube) or a more relaxed one? For the type of riding I do and for the fac...

Yeah Perth to Sydney was top of my list, but on further investigations I think that might be something I would want to do with someone else. I get the impression that there's nothing near Sydney that really compares to the French Alps though. Is there anything close in Tasmania? Can I propose an alternative to Manly Dam? Appin. Trails are miles better and it's not *that* far. Takes a bit over 45mins from the inner west. I can take us around a sweet 25km loop that the Rock Wallaby race was run on, so those of you that did the Appin 800 will be riding some new trails in addit...

Re: Wheel Upgrade - Thoughts?
You got me thinking about wheels so I sat at work looking at options this afternoon. The combo of Stans XTR Alpha 340 rims, Tune hubs and Sapim CX-Ray spokes and nipples would deliver an alloy clincher around the 1200g mark. Almost seems a bit too light. Would possibly worry about the Tune hubs not ...
