Hi Karzie, I'm highly skilled at misunderstanding things. If only I was half as good on the bike! Re: Cootamundra Haycarters & Recovery: Sat-Sun 12th & 13th M
I'll sort it out soon, just need to have a chat with Al first. I'm guessing John, Alex, and Rhys want some accommodation. Do you need accommodation Taylor? I won't be able to give anyone a lift though, as i'll be heading to Canberra for 5weeks after the weekend. Mr Fowler... Please add my name to t...

Re: 2012 adventure rides 6am: 6th May - The Wall
I've climbed it, Phil Kelly told me about it a while ago. It's not too bad, just out of the saddle the whole way. Alex: for mere mortals not capable of cruising at 70 around the track while holding an anvil in one hand - that is a scary description. If Alex is out of the saddle the whole way up, Ju...

Re: 2012 adventure rides 6am: 6th May - The Wall
It's funny how we think the same hills are different. I almost rolled up out of Berowra, I found a good wheel and settled into tempo and that was it. The Bobbin Head reverse climb though was a very different story. Every muscle was on fire and every rider was gliding past me. I almost didn't make it...

Thanks Peter - good to learn a bt of triumph history. I'm currently riding around a tea plantation in India on a piece of history - a royal Enfield 350 when I am not pedalling. Too good.

Re: Bike Insurance - Is it Worth it?
Hmmm, I've never gone down the bike insurance route, mainly for the reasons you outline. And this inspite of having 3 bikes stolen. An important question would be what the excess is as well. If for example you have an accident, you are most likely to be in the situation of replacing a part, not the ...

That first Malvern Star must have more teeth and a pack of crocodiles. It looks huge next to the smaller front wheel and reverse-trailing forks.
The second one has quite a slack chain... danger - don't ride!

Seems only fair; I could make room for Chiara but my wife would want to get her hands on Molly!
No I figured having half his skin from my claws digging into him was enough. I did want to tell him if we were married - I could make room for Molly, but Chiara would have to go.
