Sounds easier than the two Madisons I've ended up in in the past two weeks of track training. I'm in!

DHBC Crit 21/08/2011
I'm always keen for this race, but am sick yet again (man cold) so was out this morning. Good work Simon on putting in the organisation effort, sorry to hear of the (almost) no show.

Hi Marc,
I have a pair of wheels you can have, from a fixed conversion. They look to be in good condition. May be 6 speed though, I'll check and let you know.

DHBC 100 push up challenge
Holy crap I just reread the 50 pullups program. I was misled. It says 7 weeks in the title, but that's only if you can do 15 already. 20 weeks to go for me, ach! P.S. Trouty I don't know how much the exact rest time matters. I like the timer because it's enough rest but stops me dawdling... I reckon...

DHBC 100 push up challenge
Oh yeah iPhone apps are good, I've used the pushup one before and just got the pull up one. Main benefit is they give you a countdown for the break in between sets: always comes around faster than you think.

DHBC 100 push up challenge
I saw that but thought it was an American thing, I would call them both chin ups... The palm out ones are a bit harder. But I don't have a choice though: have to do them palm out ("pull up") cause I'm using the second floor landing :) Actually been wanting to do it for ages but couldn't fi...

Ken Dinnerville 29 May Race - Entries open 7th March
But anyway, account of my first race: an erratic start in the 2nd bunch off limit, caught at about 45km by the group behind, still feeling good, then squishy tyre around hairpin: slow leak, race over. In the 8 mins or so it took me to change the tube every group went past... Not feeling good by the ...

Re: Macarthur Crits 2011
Ach, forgot to enter after getting approval =(. Apparently there are late entries on the day though. How do the divisions here compare to usual A/B/C grading? I've raced comfortably in C grade Beaumount Rd and A grade at Southern Cross. (The Macarthur CC website mentions that late entries will incur...

He won with ease and style. I sat on the front of the bunch and soft-pedalled while he took off, don't think he needed it though :) I signed on to B grade but switched to A just before the start, wanted to wear myself out... I can also recommend this crit for people looking to have a go and learn: c...
