Re: DHBC Giro D’Maggio: Kilometre Grand Tour challenge May 2

A measly 17k this morning. one of my riding partners had two flats, used two of my tubes, two of my inflators and my minipump and then called his wife to come and pick him up. I got REALLY REALLY mad and used bad words. May I please have a point for most aggressive rider? 1. Mikesbytes 965K 2. Lizan...

DHBC Criteriums for Virgins

Hi All As last Sunday was my first Crit I thought i would give my views for the benefit of those who have thought about having a go but remain apprehensive. Re: DHBC Criterium Championships ROUND 2 - Sunday 17/04/2011

I would like to have a go at this. I don't think I need a track bike for this (from what i understand of Crits)? I guess I may well be in the F Grade.

I am sure one of you would be happy to show me the way to be fed to the lions.

Re: Blayney to Bathurst

My Account of the Ride The Peloton assembled for the annual B2B at the Blayney Leisure Centre after being dropped about an hour early for the start. Spectator Report Tour Down Under Stage 5 and 6

Stage 5 and 6 of the Tour Down Under 2011 Ok….. I admit it. I didn’t ride on the Saturday after the big one. My posse and I enjoyed a great feed at the Stag Hotel on East Terrace on the Friday night. A beer and half a bottle of red and I was goooorne. The next morning I really couldn’t face the sadd...

Spectator Ride Report Tour Down Under Stage 4 - The MCCT

The Mutual Community Challenge Tour and Stage 4 – Norwood to Strathalbyn We gathered in a throng at the appointed hour, sporting a “wee” coloured jersey that reminded me of the time I spent as a urine sample collector in a Munich Beer Hall during Oktoberfest, but that story’s for another day…… Whils...

Spectator Ride Report TDU Stage 3

The Unley to Stirling Stage is my favourite of all Stages of the TDU. Last year was my first trip for the event. We had such a good time that a visit this year was definitely on the cards. We knew from last year that Stage 3 really was a carnival atmosphere. The coffee shops were filled with profess...

Sorry all, for the delay in penning the second part. I had to do a little work which I find always gets in the way of a good time. As my wife commented, there were more shaved, waxed, primped, buffed, plucked and fake tanned legs than the entire membership of the Pink Sticks Marching Band at the Mardi Gras, and that was just the boys.
