I saw him the other day riding through redfern on his truck bike with a cast on one arm i was in a hurry so couldn't stop and chat. I asked how he was going and he said that he was "hanging in there" or something to that effect. other than the cast he appeared to be in good health.

It is good to hear that she is out of hospital and most importantly that she is alive.
After having a head on severral years ago I know how much of a shake up it can be.

I Agree totally with Weiyun our return trip from waterfall was the best i have had. A nice steady pace without any surging at the front and the calling when it is safe to move over was also very helpful allowing for a very smoth motion allround.

I rode to La Perouse this morning on the fixie and it was good. the roads were wet but the rain stayed away. I managed to make it as far as hollis park on Wilson St on the way home before encountering a flat front tyre. It's probably lucky I was riding solo or I may hve lost points in the flat tyre ...

Um, I heard the SS effect came into operation as there is only 2 umbrellas at the cafe - seats in the shade were up for grabs

This doesn't explain why it happens on the way out to waterfall.

Sounds like a good plan due to the fact that some of the now slow group could step up to a faster pace. maybe to keep the KISS principles in order the times could be simply listed as 6:20/6:30/6:40 removing any confusion for those who don't get the whole 6:15/20 Start thing.

It was just me and my i-pod.
There was a few sprinkles fo rain on my way to marrickville but otherwise a dry ride with a head wind going down so geoff and Marian were missed for their draftability, but none the less a good ride after having not gotten out of bed on sunday morning.
