Assume that prior to his first drugs test we have NO idea whether or not Lance took drugs (which I think is a fair assumption; noone here knows him I don't think...). After each negative drug test it because less likely that he is on drugs. This is a very famous probability problem looked at by Lapl...

Hi Mike, I haven't heard that phrase before, but since insulin is a hormone I guess it makes sense. On your post Rhys - I did the Coota race a few weeks ago, which is my first longer ride (long for me anyway) and I got smashed by cramps at ~65km mark!! They were terrible!! My left leg literally got ...

Man I've never trained so hard to see my results so slow before!!! I'm only doing about 50 percent cycling related training, and it shows hey! Hopefully it's true that weights slow you down, and it's not just my total lack of bike time! and I'll get the results I'm more aiming for in a few months. ...

Mike - thats an interesting point regarding insulin spiking and weight loss. The idea is that the glucose that caused the insulin spike is not taken to replenish muscles whose energy stores have been depleted. Rather, it is a very short-term method used only to encourage the rapid uptake of nutrient...

I think Mt Barrengarry on the Nowra/Moss Vale Rd is harder than Macq Pass. Similar vertical but shorter (if you count the Macq pass hill as starting at the Macq pass sign at the bottom to the train tracks before Robertson at the top). I think Macq pass is easier cause of that flattish bit about half...
