Ok, I'll just make the extra effort for 6am starts and guess the same for Adrian from Strathfield. My dislike of riding in the dark isn't so much with the availability of a front light. Unless one goes with one of those high intensity lights, road visibility is always that much poorer than during da...

That Hickson Rd section is part of my regular Sat morning ride. It's very pleasant. But I would think by 7am, that section has already got busy with all the wharf activities as well as all the early car parkers. The other nice loop to consider is that Pirrama Rd that goes along the front of the cas...

Anyone know anything more about this 170km race?

It sounded to be a race aimed at pro teams rather than the amateur ranks.

Well, the way to get past that is to use your own blood for the transfer, which is a bit of what was involved with operation puerto, though this can also be detected due to an unusually high red blood cell count, which is why they have a Hematocrit level that is not allowed to be exceeded. That's w...

Kazakastan's PM/Minister visit to the Tour may have something to do with it. Handling of those TT bikes
With all the crashes in Stage 13 of TdF, the commentator blamed it on the poor cornering performance of those TT bikes. Is it true that they handles poorly on cornering? Or was the wet road/high speed/tyre to blame?

This should be something that Huw would appreciate...
Looking at the finishing sprint in Stage 3 of TdF, CSC's Cancellara was over the hood the whole way and won.
