That means that you are nice and relaxed. Always a good sign if you are sitting in the bunch. Watch the Olympics, it isn't uncommon to see the starters yawning, a sign that they are very relaxed.

Looking at the shots, I think that they guy in blue and yellow did actually win. Have a look at the second last picture, to me, his wheel is pretty much on top of the white line, while the front wheel of the guy in white is just a little bit behind it. Re: Rogers wins Tour of California

The problem that Mick Rogers has at the Tour is Mark Cavendish. I can't see HTC-Columbia leaving Mark behind when it comes to the Tour, so that means that he is going to have a couple of riders there to support him. Which then means that it is a few less riders who can support Mick in the mountains....

The trick to riding something like that is to watch the horizon, not right in front of you.

Further, you want to do it at a reasonable speed, not stupidly fast, but fast enough where the bike is happy to stay on it's line.

That is basically happening because of the width of the two images, they are limiting the minimum size of the table that they are part of, and so once the screen is reduced too much, the table is then pushed below the side navigation bar.

This is basically because of bad web design.

Westfield Voucher giveaway - DHBC Competition

OK, I know that this is going to sound crazy, but I assure you that it is legitimate. I have recently acquired some Westfield gift vouchers through work. I can’t be bothered trying to either use them, or get rid of them another way. So, I am going to give them away. I have two $500 gift card voucher...

Replacement Belt for Rollers

Hi I went to use my rollers on Sunday, and the belt snapped, luckily not while I was on them. They are Cinelli (I think) rollers, noisy as hell, but they still work. Does anyone know the best place to source a replacement belt for these? Or is it possible to repair them? It has broken at the join. B...

According to this site http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-video-editor.htm Avidmux and VirtualDub are good options. Did you puncture all 5 tubes this year? Or are they carry overs from past decades? I patched them this year, when I got the flats is irrelevant. Maybe I will become a scab this year, and pick up tubes that others are going to throw away so I can patch them. Easy way to get points... James

Patched last night, new tube in this morning, lasted all of about 1km, when it went off, it blew the bead off the tyre, so the tyre is a write off as well. 10 09 08 07 G 06 05 04 03 02.5 Weiyun 02...

How much interest is there in the club for these rides to continue? I know that I haven't been there for the last couple of rides, but it has felt that most of the time there is usually only 1 or 2 other riders who are doing these.

I seem to remember someone mentioning to me a while ago, that some clubs have a certain dress code for club events, be it racing, or training. If you look closer, you find that it filters down from the UCI, we are subject to Cycling Australia Rules, and they are pretty much based on UCI regulations....

I would pretty much follow the Sydney to Gong route down to Thirroul, and then up Bulli Pass.

There we could either take the Old Princess Highway all the way back to Waterfall, or the F6 to Helensburg, and then the Old Princess Highway to Waterfall.

Having ridden on NYD in the past, there is stuff all traffic anyway.

Personally, it is one of the best days of the year to actually go for a ride, you tend to be the only vehicle on the road.

New Years Day

Assuming that not everyone parties too hard on Thursday night, who fancies a good ride on Friday morning?

I was going to do Bulli Pass. About 150km from Marrickville. Rating, very hard, Bulli Pass is about 3.5km averaging about 10%.

I have cycled from my place (Enmore) to just shy of Goulburn. That was 180km. I have also cycled from there to Canberra, that was about 100km. If you don't want to take the highway, you are going to do over 300km. It is about 70km from Enmore to Pheasants Nest, where there is a Service Station you c...

It's easy, look at the horizon and where you want to go, and then just ride, don't hesitate too much, speed is your friend, and your across before you know it. You can easily practice by riding along the road and sitting on a white line on the road. it is a lot easier to do by looking ahead than by ...
