I had this problem on my On One too...I've got a Surly Chain tug/bottle opener on there now and a standard On One one on the non-drive side. I still need to run the quick release pretty bloody tight though...as Christian and Alex will attest to. They had to yank it out when I couldn't get it undone....

Just got an update from Tim... He's going to have surgery tomorrow morning and will have to stay in a rehab centre for a few weeks after that. As Christian posted, he's broken both his humeruses and dislocated them from his shoulder. His left elbow has also been fractured. CAT scans revealed no spin...

We were descending on Mt Ousley road a bit over 60km/h on a very dirty shoulder. Tim hit a bit of retread and went over the bars. He ended up in the middle of the left lane of traffic. When I was doing a lot of base km work at the beginning of the year I was about 7-8kg heavier than I am now.....losing the weight definitely helped me with endurance and hills, but you have to have the base to start off with....It definitely didn't help with my sprint at all.

I bent mine a few weeks ago on a gorges ride I got stuck in a crevice in the road, fell off and then Simon ran into me :oops:) It wasn't as bad as yours though and I was able to fix it by giving it a yank with an adjustable spanner.

John - did you do a rib?
I went to the hospital for x-rays after work today. The damage is two fractured ribs.
Both the fractures were tiny though, I could hardly see them. I was more impressed with my resting heart rate. 45 bpm!

At least when you get to the top of Macquarie pass its down hill all the way home, although I'm sure it doesn't feel like that. It won't be for the Fixie Century though...I got horrible premonitions of intense and sustained pain heading down into Stanwell Park yesterday...That climb is NOT going to...

From what I could gather..... He was on my wheel going in to the last corner, as he stood up to put the power down out of the corner, he slid out the rear. I think he then over corrected and he slid the bike along the opposite sidewall (ie. the side on the outside of the corner). This caused a HUUUU...

It was MTB Anthony. He left a fair bit of skin behind, but he seemed alright. He was more upset about wrecking his knicks and jersey.

Is this the aluminium one on special at CBD? The ASR-SL is a beautiful frame. I still have withdrawal symptoms from not being able to look at my old 575 before bed every night. Does the frame come with an RP3 or RP23 rear shock? I'm not to sure if the performance of the recon fork will match the cal...
