Registrations to speak must be made ten minutes prior to the meeting, at 9:50am, outside the door to the Supper Room. Should you wish to speak all discussion is limited to 3 minutes per item. Or better, everyone turn up and register to speak against the plan..... hahahaha....they'll be there all ni...

Re: Sunday Waterfall bunch ride

even now the different bunches hardly seem to co-mingle or talk to each other so I've answered my own question. I think this is largely an effect of the age differences. Also, the focus required to succeed as an elite rider filters out a lot of interactions which are "superfluous to requiremen...

The hill isn't too bad, it's the full stop sign at the bottom that terrifies me.
We could get some of the juniors to stand at the bottom and hold up a couple of mattresses, just in case.

Re: 2010 Gong Ride Sun 7th Nov - Team DHBC

Sounds promising. As a young man we used to have races (in cars, in neutral) down Black Mountain in Canberra to see who would hit their brakes first. Somewhere like this would be great for the event. A long downhill with some excellent corners + little traffic and no other entry points....

Sounds like you're a contender in the downhill racing.... Whatever happened to that? There was a fair bit of idle boasting and bold posturing going on :)

It's not exactly sarcasm, it's just another way of looking at it. And anyway, Hoy said as much afterward as it turns out. Once he showed english he was beaten he expected him to pull up.

English didn't have enough respect to just give up and thought it was actually a race. Pretty sad result.

As a fixie hipster myself, I think that it would make a nose-stand quite impractical - or at the very least unintentional.....and it would obscure the view of my spoke cards.

Agree. Hardly professional cyclists with those hairy legs. The title of the picture also implies the Shrubb Face is on the right track.

Saturday looks a bit iffy. 45km/h westerly winds! Sunday winds westerly 30km/h to push us toward the coast, moderating and moving south-west after lunch to push us thru the RNP.
