Re: There's no Strava badge for this
I am looking at Sunday June 29th 5.30am start with a 5.30pm finish I would say. However I haven't got approval yet. It certainly won't be any earlier.
I will be dealing with that once the Ken Dinnerville is out of the way this Sunday.

Whilst he's at it, perhaps he could have me started another 15 mins before everyone else. Seeing I did come last and all last year.DHBC Road Captain, James Fowler, is onto this. Liam, what start group do you think you should be in?

There's no Strava badge for this
So, I have a plan. Admittedly embryonic at this point however a plan no less. I need a date and a couple of fellow lunatics to help me out with the "DHBC 240". West Head - Waterfall - LaPa 240km extravaganza, 12 hours and the traditional Pork Knuckle dinner at the Concordia Club. Anyone in?

Re: Flying Domestically with a bike?
I have flown with Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin. Virgin was a challenge and I wouldn't fly with my bike with them again. Nothing wrong with the airline, just the bike part was too hard. Jetstar, I purchase additional luggage 25Kg and all good. Qantas I didn't need to buy anything additional. I travel w...

I will make contact with Chorki tomorrow. I am planning to do it with some of the C25's, C28's and Middies. It's bucket list stuff and we'll be a fast as the slowest rider. My target time with them is 12 hours and 59 minutes. It would appear there are plenty of active and peripheral DHBC riders keen...

102km! 4 laps!
I did have unfinished business with this ride after my effort last year. However that's another 16 or 17 additional kilometres that is liable to kill me. I was so deep into the red last year that I was seeing stars. Dammit, not happy Jan!
