Hopefully a few more of the GC contenders can stay upright this year. It would make it more exciting to have multiple protagonists heading into the third week.

Can you swap out the 50 on a 50/34 compact and make it a 52/34? Is this too big a jump for the FD?
Alternatively for a ride like the Alpine 250 could you swap out the 34 to make a 50/30?

After three and a half weeks of not drinking booze and not eating crap I lost three and a half kilos.
Followed by two weeks since Simone being back from Europe and eating out and drinking wine in the evening.
Its all back again.

Toff To avoid disappointment you could always ride the Fitz's course twice in one go! Did the ACE 250 a couple of years ago. Great ride but there are a few uphill sections that are just plain horrible for a non climber like me. The mental scars must have healed enough for me to be keen to do it all ...

Mike did you mean Robertson? Only downside of riding up Macquarie Pass later in the day are all the motorcycle racer boys.

If you like it then shave the other, otherwise just leave it that way and it will be a great source of post ride cafe conversation

Starting Weight - 79.8
Week 1 - 78.0
Week 2 - 77.8
Not much of an improvement compared to the first week but was ill for most of the time 'coughing up buckets' so no riding as well.
So far 2 weeks of no booze and crap food = 2 kilos
Damn I want a pizza washed down with beer.

Seem to be reasonably priced as well.

Best thing is that is bright yellow and it's totally waterproof. Very useful when caught out with the laptop on the back.

How do you tell when SRAM update their groupsets? There never seems to be a year or model referred to on the web. Is SRAM Red 2011 the same as SRAM 2010?
Shimano always has a stated model series e.g. Ultegra 6500, 6600 and most recently 6700.
Thanks
