Nah keep stationary in there. Seriously if someone wants to sit on rollers and do 100km then power to them for getting on and sitting through the dullness.

Don't make this all technical, it's a really awesome idea and I reckon it was really well thought out!

Yeah when I rode up to Mt Victoria in the pissing down rain the whole way in December it wasn't so enjoyable... I think I would much rather go and climb Macq Pass!

I wish this comp was in any other month except May. Too much racing for me to go and do epic days of climbing :(

Re: Ken Dinnerville 29 May Race - Entries open 7th March

Contact CNSW and see if they have a waiting list or something. People pull out... In fact people just don't show up on the day like a hell of a lot of people did last year because of the threat of rain or whatever.

Sucks to not have James and Alex in there :(

Re: Tassie Sojourn

Well being a noobie tourer as far as catching planes with my bike goes, I'm getting a taxi to the Airport. Since I have to half dismantle Bob and figure out how much weight is distributed where, it just seems easier. I got a bike box (Cannondale, no less) earlier in the week. And Ted, your pedals sh...

It is a bit controversial isn't it? I won't dig out the photo of my crosser with my track bike on the back hanging out with Rob's crosser with his track bike on the back... That wouldn't be appropriate for the forum audience! ;)

Ok, so I think I am going to over limit

Re: Adjustable bottle cage

I should probably add that I am overly fastideous when touring on my own and spend each morning checking every damn bolt on bike and Bob. So something that doesn't bolt is a little scary. Guess I just don't ever want to be involved in any kind of hairy situation when I've got 30kg of load on the back.

Re: Adjustable bottle cage

I have a brand new set of those bands sitting in my gear room. While I am sure they work just fine, but I haven't tested them. I don't want to run them touring because when something breaks in the middle of nowhere I'm not going to be able to fix it. Would much prefer a bolt on solution considering ...

How do these flats on track bikes occur? I got a flat at Goulburn and fixed it, raced on it... All was good. Then I find another flat that I had to change before training tonight. Couldn't find the cause, but it definately wouldn't hold air. 11.5 orphic (8) 11.0 10.5 10.0 9.5 9.0 8.5 8.0 7.5 7.0 Tim...

Traffic was ok actually. Ride time wasn't too bad, but I did find I stopped a lot more and my average speed was slower than an RNP attempt but I was pretty tired/toast for most of the ride. Traffic on the way back was AWESOME. You know that hill coming down from Pymble going across a bridge where yo...
