Hello everyone. I know it's a little early, but just so you can plan your holidays and work parties without missing out on the best night of the year:

**Save the date - Thursday December 1**

Details to follow. In quite some time.

The long awaited details! After some interesting machinations and brilliant ideas, they're pretty much the same as last year! Which was, after all, voted by PeterT as the best party in 102 years! This year it will be even better: you can get your ticket at the door and we'll get the nibblies side of things rolled out a little earlier.

***DHBC Christmas Party and Awards Night***
Newington Inn (upstairs)
292 Stanmore Rd, Petersham
Thursday December 1, 7pm till they kick us out
$10 - tickets at the door (life members free)

Finger food will be provided.
Drinks are buy your own from the bar.
In honour of Cadel, everyone is encouraged to dress as a podium girl.

If people want to have a proper dinner there's a bistro downstairs, but be aware that service can be a little slow if not cooking your own steak so it's not a bad idea to eat beforehand.

I believe that Stuart has manged to move his flight to the Friday but Julio & PeterOS are yet to convince them to move the Iron Man. Sorry guys.

Mike, there is SO much more to being a podium girl than just waxing.

Well, I just trawled my dress-up box. Much to my horror, my yellow dress doesn't quite fit like it did when I was 18! But I've got the sprinter's jersey well covered.

Spewing I can't make it. I would love to come dressed as a podium girl, even if I look a little like a romanian weightlifter.

My thanks as well to Camilla and all helpers and organisers for a fun night.

And the lorikeet made it home too. Looks damn fine sitting on the table waiting for Eleri to get back from Adelaide.

I'm surprised you can even see the table Adam, under all Eleri's booty!

A fun night. Really lovely to catch up with people. Thanks everybody. A special cheers to Ian & Linda for music & to Stuart for the photo reel - which we hope to see soon at a venue whose projector is actually working. And of course to Simon, James & Mike, presenters extraodinaire. Plus Lindsay, who had the toughest job of all: lugging 5kg of marble trophies home on his back from Paramatta!

On the night we couldn't show the slide show as the projector was worthless. here's a link to all the slides that we would have shown if it had actually worked. BTW, if your event/photos were not included it's because I didn't get a link to the pics. If you have them uploaded. Send the link and I'll see what I can do.

There are 450+ shots

They are supposed to be in date order and only cover 2010-2011 in reality, they are a little mixed up.

Perhaps there could be a Club rule. At all social events members must wear an approved helmet (no vikings ok) and sunglasses to accompany their selected post cycling fashion wear. This will aid member identification.

I am sure i would recognise more people if they were encased in lycra and safety wear.

nice pics
