Hahaha.... I don't think it's that sort of bowling? but maybe they'll put in some lines for you if you ask them nicely... :)

Yes, more sort of "bowls" as opposed to "bowling". But maybe "green" rather than "lines"...

Dress code for the event obviously would specify pleated frock (white) or smart slacks (white) teamed with sensible shoes and hat. (But I've no idea what the ladies could wear.)

It's a great venue - I've been there for quite a few parties & gigs. Historic bowls club, rescued from development by the local community who run it themselves. No pokies. Excellent choice, DHBC Committee!

Hi All,

Just a reminder to please RSVP for the Christmas Party as per the email from Eleri on the weekend. We'd like to get an idea of numbers so we can ensure we cater accordingly. You may also RSVP here on the forum if that is easier or you didn't get the email (which, in turn, should be a trigger for you to update your details with Cycling Australia).

Regards,

Jo

Hello all - do you have some fabulous photos of your cycling activities in 2012? I'm after quality shots of (especially) DHBC and other events / rides / silliness for a photo stream at the party. Track, road, trail, bar ....

Please upload your favorite shots to the web (photobucket, Flickr, Picasa etc) and post a link to them here. Thanks.

I may be able to as well. Depends on how sick my wife is. Usually she is fully sick, but this week she's been downgraded to just sick.

Just found out that it's an outside party so we won't be able to project anything. So no photos and no film. Thanks to all who sent in photos. I'll put them up on Picasa soon and add links here and on the website.

Ditto for the movie that I now have more time to properly edit and add music to.

A fabulous night indeed. Thanks to everybody who came along and made it such a great success. I'm sure the raffle was rigged ! Also, perfect that it rained this mornign so didn't feel bad about not going riding :-)

Here's a link to lots of photos - Best to view a slideshow in full screen mode. You can download, distribute - whatever. Using Google Picasa you can download the entire album if that's your want.

here's a couple of the best ones

Great photos Stuart! Thanks for uploading them

It was a fabulous night. Special thanks to the organisers Mark Hales for kicking it off by picking a really great venue and Camilla for doing an excellent job of getting it to happen.

The bananas - haha still laughing about that!

The beer was good, the pizza was tasty (wrestled some scraps off the kids), and thankfully the raffle was rigged because I won (thanks). Great night.

Thanks for the photos. I had a great time. My wife was impressed that I won an award for the stupidity of attempting the Fixie Century on a 60 year old bike.
