Check out those handlebars. I'd love one of those, I wonder if Stuey would consider that for my birthday?

Jo we can just got on a little weekend trip down to Geelong and just "have a look". :) I'd be up for that.

It really is a beautiful piece of machinery - I'd marry Stuart if he bought me that. Maybe that would be a deterrent for poor stu.

I'm currently checking out a new track frame. Stuart has to resign to the idea that it will be my birthday and Christmas present whether he likes it or not. But being the kind hearted, generous, supporting, and loving partner that he is - I'm sure he will be fine with it (not that he could possibly be reading this).

Bars look like 3t scattos with a carbon overlay/bond to stem like what Appleman Bicycles do:
http://www.applemanbicycles.com/applestemhandlebar.htm

Send them your bar,stem & $100.......

Bars are definitely a Scatto derivative. Loved those bars, ever since I saw Anna Meares smashing it on 'em...

The baum looks a bit hoopty. I would rather buy a point piper mansion and have change than buy a baum. My new motto 'straight alu better value'

The guy on the bottom, since he wasn't actually moving, so must have been there a while. :D

He might be DQ'd though, as he's out of the sprinters lane, depending on whether he actually took it.

Where does that brake cable go, drum brake on the rear wheel? I like the extra bar on the fork to stiffen it up, looks like an after thought.

The bars on the fork are there to prevent the fork from vibrating on an uneven road surface, and causing a harmonic "death wobbles" scenario. It would probably be fatal at 145 km/h. Jean Claude Rude used a blind stoker on his tandem to set his 1979 world record.

Would be slightly easier taking a lap in the maddy there. I would love to ride the Red Bull Minidrome the most.

One of my fave's. I talk about this one alot. That's the Flying Dutchman, Piet van Kempen, showing off in 1936. Despite what the internet would have you believe, he's not racing in a six day race, and it wasn't taken during WWII.

I was going to post that on OREC but i was a bit worried about the bib length and the handle bar tape. Plus they could be durace cranks.
