Big Stu gets another 2nd in the Vets E grade. He was also seen dawdling with the pack mid race, but some how managed to pull a 3rd in the sprint...Go figure. He was missing his lead outs Pete and Eleri this week.

The racing was at Lansdowne Park and Jo should have added she just got pipped for 5th on the line in D grade which is a great result after spending perhaps too much time on the front.

E grade was a total of only 10 starters (when in winter they had 20-25 - go figure), 2 of whom did not make it to the finish but anyway I'll take the 2nd place.

Hot Stuff !

Well done at Lansdowne. The Red Shirts continue to stir up the Vets. Great results.

yeah Tim, my plan was to draft one of the stronger guys on the last lap, which was working beautifully....until he died and I was left at the front with all the sprinters trailing me as we hit the home stretch. I guess 3rd and 4th wheels is probably the better place to be. I'm starting to know the guys to mark now which helps.

Yeah - Christian, you should come out - especially at Eastern Creek, its awesome.

CHRISTIAN: Can I drop the money for the socks off at your house or some thing. I doubt I can make the track on Wednesday as I'm out to dinner, and tonight is a maybe.

Great ride Stu and Jo.

Sometimes it is better to come second.

If you win they will put you up a grade.

You should be good now for the Grafton to Inverell race.

So, it was close at the finish of E grade. BTW, mark down Sun Dec 19th - it's a Graded Scratch TEMPO CUP at Eastern Creek Raceway - lets get lots of DHBC masters riders out there for the final fling at ECR for 2010. 7:00am start time.

Photo by Ernie Smith Photography (the one who charges more for photo's as the resolution goes up ... meaning I won't buy them - $10 for a 72dpi or $25 for a 300dpi image is a joke when others give you the full size image for less).
