Hi folks,

There is a big music event in C.P. called "Listen Out" on this Saturday.

Centennial Parklands have advised that the Grand Drive Cycle Lane will be closed from Parkes Drive (the turnoff leading uphill to the Paddington Gates) around to Robinson Drive (near the York Road Gates) all day.

"Congestion and Delays are expected"

Hmm . maybe time for a destination rethink? I'm ride leader on Sat and having half the park shut off, including all the hills won't make for a very interesting day out.

Dolls Point mostly via the Bike paths? That's about 30k's return I think.

Decision made: It's a Saturday Slowies adventure Ride to Dolls Point via the bike paths as much as possible and then last piece on the road. Spread the word.

Here's the route map for those wanting to know where we're going. We will most probably use Grand Parade once at Brighton on the way there (not the bike path) and then detour via Gordon St & Francis Ave on the way back. 30k's return. A top morning out. See you at the same time as usual for the roll out.

Thanks to the 20 or so riders that came along today. A great morning ride on a beautiful day. Seems many riders had not been that way before and we had three new riders and three juniors. Maybe slowies could do a new destination once in awhile. Olympic Park maybe ... or even LaPa.
