John Mason in the usual situation-flying past me as we go up a hill.
Climbing out of Bronte he was with a bunch, then I dropped my chain at Tamarama and that was the last I saw of them.
Have a great ride,
Peter

Spotted a DHBC person at the corner of Marion St and Tebbutt St, Leichhardt this morning at about 6.45am. He had sunglasses and could not recognise him. He was coming from the Haberfield side of Marion.

Four times Lizanne.

But who's counting?!

Was a great misty morning to be out. I didn't see the Secret TT riders either.

As per Lizanne's Facebook entry "SOPTTED"; Andrew B has since unravelled the confusion.
He claims this is not a corrupted version of 'spotted' but an abbreviation of 'Seen: Older Persons Time Trialling". :D

Had a feast of my own a few days back: Adrian followed by Michelle B jogging and Trevor Dean of Science (once I hit uni), all within 4 mins. Made me feel like I lived in my own little country town called Sydney. In all reality, I see Adrian out and about more often than not.

Perhaps he's worthy of his own personal spotted thread? We could get him a red and white striped scarf and all! I'm sure Eleri could whip that up for him in a spare moment. Along with matching socks.

Camilla.

Mike C at a Five Dock gym giving a spin class for a large group of students from Burwood girls High School. My daughter said after the class he rode off on an "old bicycle like you dad". DHBC through and through. A quick check of my FB friends confirmed my suspicions.

A veritable smorgasbord of DHBC Team Time Triallers @ Centennial Park this morning.
Dougie, Cam, Adam, Mike C, Paul?, John M & Marc R.
Dougie seemed to have unleashed a bit too much furry and was seen struggling to get it back in the cage for a couple of laps.
Have a great ride, bon chance and may the steel framed time Triallers look the best.

Spotted Colin doing secret training in CP today. Apparently he was with Nick (according to Strava) but I didn't see you sorry Nick!

Then bumped into Mark Lacey on Oxford St. Had a chat about Stuart O'Grady until the lights went green. Tried to hang on to his wheel to no avail. He has clearly recovered better than me from the road race on Sunday.

for some reason watching that show (I just watched the linked episode), really annoys me. Though I did find it quite informative, watching the conversations about how 'they' should live etc (conversations involving the four young people who the show is about, giving their opinions on people they don't know), drives me mad! I will try and watch the rest of the series though.

The transport episode has Fiona "aka Marrickville bike bus". I was looking for her as I often see her going the other way on Thursday mornings

Thanks. It was fun and I'm glad they used the line about capital gains tax. The look on the face of the young Lib was priceless - at the time and in the actual show. :-)

But as one of my friends said "you had one big chance to get your name pronounced correctly and you failed." Ah well.

Eleri and Cameron this morning on New Canterbury Rd, dodging traffic on the return leg from LaPa (I assume). Cam was artfully hiding from the wind and taking full advantage of Eleri's slipstream.

And I didn't see you, but we did see Simon Sharwood in his car and briefly exchanged words (of the pleasant variety).

Cameron seeking payback from Sunday's ride back from West Head where I sucked wheel big time.

It was that "oh, I know you" look, a primal recognition, before the brain and mouth had time to engage. (truth is the brain and mouth are rarely engaged and almost never at the same time)

Andrew M at 5.10am turning into Cleveland from City Rd as I took my partner to the salt mines.
4 members of the NRS, I think John and Alex were there, heading into Galston Gorge as we headed out towards Bobbin Head at about 10am.
Have a great ride and enjoy the exhibition Andrew,
Peter

A veritable feast this morning:

- Amy Vesty and Mark Lacey on Old South Head Road doing Eastern Suburbs Hills;
- Colin and Nick in CP;

- And Christian spotted me (though I did not spot him) on Military Rd.

Great morning to ride!

A trilogy of spotteds:
1. Mikesbytes near Redfern Station, turning left toward the City
2. Jo in CP (at least I heard her call out)
3. James Rogers turning into Enmore Rd as I turned off it.

Beautiful mist in CP.

Amy Vesty this morning on Coward St heading toward LaPa. With another rider whom I couldn't see. I was in a taxi heading home from LaPa with ANOTHER bloody flat (no time to change it the Bride had to be at work). What's the damn go with all these flats. new tyres, tyre liners, no glass. Cause for deeper inspection.
