Hi All,

I've been sent details of a 2,900km Cycling Tour of Spain for those who are interested:

Dear Fellow Cycling Enthusiast,

We are proud to inform you about our new and unparalleled 2,900 km Road Cycling Tour from Porto via Bilbao to Barcelona. The tour leads through spectacular scenery of some of Spain's most remote areas and winds along the coast of the Atlantic and the Bay of Biscay, over mountain passes of the Picos de Europa and the Pyrenees and will end at the Mediterranean.

The stages average 103 km and 1,380 m of climbing a day. The tour consists of two independent but consecutive stretches of 14 stages each: Porto-Bilbao and Bilbao-Barcelona.

Although challenging due to its length, the atmosphere is relaxed with participants varying in age from 30 to 65. Would a mention of our website www.iberiancyclingtours.com in either your club newsletter or on your website, blog or forum be an option? Five Australians we earlier rode with in Italy have registered for this tour in 2013 and would be glad to serve as a reference about who we are if need be. Tempted, do not hesitate to contact us!

The contact email is herman.huizinga@gmail.com for those who are interested.

I visited Porto and North Portugal last year and it was lovely territory. Enormous servings of meat and potatoes for under a tenner. And the local "green wine" is a very light white with just a hint of bubbles.
