Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting Sydney from the 7 to 10 November and am keen to do some rides with the club that weekend.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to loan me a road bike for those few days. The older the better. I'm 5 10' and regularly ride 54cm top tube frame. Anything thereabout would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Adrian

Christian will have his fixie available I would imagine. I think you guys are around the same height? Not a roadie but a good back up plan if you don't find anything?

Harves has 2 road bikes but is fairly tall.

Hi Adrian,
My bikes are 60 cm top tube so they're no good for you, but best bet might be my daughter's Schwinn which is actually Pat Walsh's old bike.
Don't know it's size off the top of my head but I think it'll be fine for you.
Older aluminium frame but just got her a new saddle, and cog set and a full service.
As it's just one weekend I am pretty sure she won't mind.
Drop me a line on Facebook before you arrive. We're just in Dulwich Hill.

I still have my CAAD 10, it needs pedals but other than that it's good to go. Size 54. It's technically for sale but as I have not advertised it any where it's not likely to find a new home before your visit.

Thanks everyone for the offers.
Phillip, that would be fantastic. I'll get in touch closer to the date. If it sells thats not problem too. I'm sure I can work something out.
Thanks
Adrian

I can lend you some 105 Shimano pedals if that helps. Looking forward to seeing you Adrian!

as a plan B - I have a 56TT Alu Merida - but I could put on a shorter stem than the 100mm it has now :-)

Perhaps to coincide with a ride to Newcastle ?

Yes Utopia, I'll be coming during the Newcastle Overnight and will be keen to join in the fun. I've had a back injury for the last two months so I haven't been struggling to do much ridubg. I'm going to start the ride then get the train back somewhere before Hawkesbury river. Hopefully I'll so the C25s in the morning to Waterfall as well.
