This bike was restored by a young guy in Sydney.
A Giant Cadex 980 from c. 1990. Note the lugged carbon fibre tubes.

The CF tubing was re-lacquered and the lugs polished. I think it comes up quite nicely.

Looks good but not sure if I'd be game to ride it hard. Twenty-three year old carbon fibre does not provide me with much confidence.

I've ridden with Quang, he's a bit of a flyweight, so I think not too much risk. The bike certainly looks good. This is him at the front on the bike (myself in the background).
