Please be advised of our AGM scheduled for Tuesday 7.30pm 14th April at Canterbury Veledrome, Tempe.

Please note that we need to put a special resolution for confirmation of a new member category (Life Membership). This is necessary to confirm and ratify the decision of the club exec to bestow the four life memberships at the Centenial Dinner, and any future awards, subject to strict criteria. More details of this will be posted shortly.

Nominations are now called for the following executive positions:

President (currently held by Geoff Martin)
Vice President (currently held by James Mabbott)
Secretary (currently held by Grant Bond who will not seek re-nomination due to family commitments)
Treasurer (currently held by Grant Bond who will not seek re-nomination)
Committee Member (currently held by Lindsay Munks in capacity of New Rider Development Officer)
Committee Member (currently held by Simon Llewellyn in capacity of Track Captain)
Committee Member (currently held by James Fowler in capacity of Road Captain)
Committee Member (currently held by Adrian Emilsen in capacity of Assistant Secretary)

Nominations should be made to Club Secretary Grant Bond by email on grantanthonybond@live.com by 7.30pm Tuesday 7th April, 2009. Nominations will require endorsement (email is OK) by two other members, but if sent directly to Grant without endorsements, we can arrange for two endorsements once received by Grant.

The 2009 Executive Committee resulting from the AGM will also appoint individuals to the following roles.

Publicity Officer
Public Officer
Commissaire
Delegate to the Federation

If you are interested in getting more involved in the club in non-executive roles, please also PM me for further discussion. Those who might be interested in the Social Committee should speak to Chris Harris (current Social Director) and those interested in the Race Committee should speak directly with Simon Llewellyn/James Fowler.
