OK - I'm clearly not a girl but I'm sure there are some fem DHBC riders who are keen to do this ride so I'm just putting up the info, OK!

"Gear up Girl is proud to announce its new ambassador Olympic Swimmer, Libby Trickett!

You and your friends can join Libby as she takes on the 55km ride from Cronulla to Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 6th March 2010.

“I am really excited to be part of Gear up Girl! Getting involved in the Gear Up Girl Challenge with your friends is a great way to get active and socialise” Libby said.

I'm registered to go on this. Did it 2 years ago and, while the ride itself is a little slow and frustrating on the bike track, it was nice to see so many women out on bikes for the day.
