Hi all,

I know this is late notice. I was wanting to join and get into some racing. I ride alot but have never ridden on a track. Is training on tonight? Is it ok to just show up and fill in forms etc. I saw training is also on Wednesday - is it better to come then for a first time?

Thank you very much.

Pat

Thanks for the reply.

The links on the new riders site refer you to the online forms to the club secretary - is that where you were referring to? I sent one there yesterday... I just didn't really want to get myself to Tempe if its not on/or have to fill out forms online etc etc...

Sorry for the hassle. Regards

Hi Pat,
You have to have an approved paid up racing license to get on the track. I think tonight is racing night so probably not the best night for your first lesson. Best to get in touch with Lindsay as Timmy said. Wednesday night might be better.

Sure it's a racing license that's needed? I thought a Ride-It license is sufficient for track training. No?

A ride-it license is all you need to be able to ride on the track. If you just want to come down to the track and check it out, by all means do. There are plenty of us who can explain it all to you.

Pat,

On the forum you can see some buttons up on the top line. Third from the end is 'members'. If you click on this you will see Lindsay's name up near the top of the list on page 1.

On the right of his name is a 'PM' (Personal Message) icon. Click on this and you can send him an email message.
