Since I"ve been hearing a lot lately that people are unaware of what track opens are on unless they are told. Here's what's happening over the next couple of months....

Today 12 noon- Sydney cup on wheels, come along & spectate...

Next Saturday night - Saturday 02 February 2008; 26th Clarence Street Cyclery Cup. Entries have been extended to close today from memory, but since I"ve already entered I don't know if this is the case?

It should be an excellent event. Really good to watch & will be one of the great carnivals of the season to race. Well & truly recommended.

Then I"m overseas for Feb, spectating at the track world cup in Denmark. Though there is nothing on track wise here anyway...

Then to March comes the Newcastle open on Saturday 08 March 2008 - Hunter Region Velodrome Trust Open Track Carnival. I truly love this event, since the demise of Australia's wonderland this is one of the only places in NSW where you can still get the roller coaster experience! Excellent to ride, the locals are very friendly and put on a great show....
