2014 Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club Annual General Meeting

The DHBC Committee would like to invite all members and friends of the Club to join us for the 2014 Annual General Meeting of Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club Inc.

The date is TBC but we hope to hold the AGM on the same night as the presentation of our NRS team. The date will be announced as soon as possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask anyone who is considering nominating for a position on the Committee to please do so via email to the secretary: dulwichhillbc@gmail.com. All nominations must be seconded, and accepted by the nominee.

The Committee roles are:
Road Captain
Track Captain
Public Officer

We would like to add 2 positions to the committee:
1. Race Director - to assist with the track carnivals DHBC hopes to host in the future.
2. Canteen Coordinator - to maintain, manage and organise the canteen. This includes at our track carnivals and any gathering at the track such as the Sydney Classic Bike Show. The canteen is in dire need of a clear out and inventory and this person will be responsible for doing so.

At the close of the AGM, we will have an open session for members to provide any feedback to the incoming committee and to tell us more about what you would like from the club, and indeed what you are able to give back.

The committee has the power to co-opt people into a range of roles that support the operation of the club. These include: webmaster, communications’ officer, juniors’ officer, women’s officer and potential member secretary and assistant treasurer. If any member would be prepared to assist the club with these roles, or feel that their skills can benefit the club in any way, please email the secretary with an expression of interest.

The Agenda will be available as soon as possible.

Hi All,

The details of the AGM are as follows:

Date: Saturday 12th April 2014
Time: 6:00pm
Place: Canada Bay Club
4 William St
Five Dock
NSW 2046

If you are interested in any roles on the committee, please ensure you email the club on dulwichhillbc@gmail.com. The club relies on the work of volunteers and it would be great if you can help out.

As per the above, we are creating two new positions on the committee, race director and canteen coordinator. We are keen to have these roles filled at the AGM. Please contact me if you'd like to do so. You are also welcome to nominate yourself for any of the other positions on the committee.

Please note the AGM will be a separate function to the NRS Launch but we encourage all our members to hang around for both. You can get tickets to the NRS Launch here.
