Seriously though, now I'll have two cycle touring blogs to follow. Apart from Hew's, there's this young guy from Taiwan who's riding from Beijing to Paris. He is in the Gobi Desert at the moment... Previously he met a solo Korean girl tourer with very limited Chinese on the road, cycling from Shanghai to Bangkok via Tibet. And her luggage was so light that she didn't even carry a spare tube, nor tools. :shock:

He's been getting too close to those Poppy's it seems. :?

I think there was more to those 'helpful' locals than is mentioned. Looks like they strategically planted the rock in order to cause the double puncture and then while Huw was busy fixing the flats they managed to take off with all his luggage. On the plus side, he's lightened his bike. :lol:
