Those of you who are going to the easter show, don't forget to pick up your "The Hoff" show bag.

Easter showbags used to be $10 or less. Which parents will be willing to fork out a few of those $67 show bags for their kids?

Its hard to say, your team had the slowest and fastest rider, our team was a bit more even. True we had the order wrong, but we really lost the race in the first 200 mtrs by me not getting on the back.man mike if you reversed that team sprint order theres a big chance you lot would have hammered us!
man it was so good to see so many dullich riders riding last night! hopefully every one liked what they saw of track riding, as the friday night winter series will be alot more fun!!!
It was good for the two lads riding in m2 category riding against white and the big guy!! they had a pretty competative race or two!!

Rower Sally Robbins explains what happened in Athens: http://www.smh.com.au/news/beijing2008/ ... 55615.htmlThis threads being quiet for a while, I'll have to find something to put in it.
I don't understand this quote: "Rowing is not like other sports. The exhaustion and pain you feel is actually created by yourself."
So how is rowing unique in that regard compared to other oly sports such as cycling, kayaking, running etc.
And this: "By trying to please others … I tried too hard and sometimes go beyond my capabilities. I push myself mentally and physically beyond my limits. There is only so much a human body can take."
Wouldn't this be akin to a rider going out too hard in say the team pursuit, and dropping off early? Which would I think disqualify that person from future selection in oly teams...
Cheers,
Alan

Hey Tim, I'll watch the new Indy movie with you! It can fulfill your odd requirement to see films only with girls and my professional development needs all at once, without really having to worry about the rest of it. Sure a 100 of my closest friends have hired out an entire cinema for the occasion, but frankly I find that a bit overwhelming.
I know! Even with my new student status I find it impossible to fit everything in. How do people so much as do their laundry with full-time jobs? Thank goodness we've at least got time to do crucial things like hang out on the web of an evening. That was one quick response!

Just saw Chris Rissel comments on bicycle routes in the Inner West Courier.
Front page of the Courier has an article on bikes.
The article states there has been a 23% increase in bicycle use in Marrickville from 2001 to 2006 an a 42% increase in Burwood.
You can reply to the article at

Every so often you see people standing around with counters in their hands. And you think your job is boring23 percent of what? people on bikes? people that were driving?
23 percent of the population?

Research can be very boring and repetitive, but it's an essential process for knowledge.Every so often you see people standing around with counters in their hands. And you think your job is boring
