Average speed for M1 - M4 race is 41 - 42kph. Fast but doable

mmm...I'm undecided whether to do Presidents Cup or Cronulla criterium.
Would it be too much doing both?

For anyone like me who isn't even in contention, I would recommend this as a great race to go and spectate, both the womens, then the mens elite.

There have been great participants in the past including Matt White, Simon Gerrans, Peter McDonald (Aust champion road and crit) etc. You will get two to three Tour De France riders each year in this.

Its not crowded and plenty of vantage spots. I will probably go out.

For those not racing, what if we were to divert to the event post-Waterfall and cheer on our clubmates and/or just have fun watching some hot cycling action?
I'm told they do have coffee in Cronulla ...

Results

Masters 1 - 4 - 14 laps
Ian D. I didn't see him, but Alex R recons he was there, so he must of got spat in the first 3 laps. The pace was high in those early laps.
Mark L. 10 laps
Mike Cl. 11 laps
Alex R. 12 laps

The problem that Mark, Alex and I had was that we were too far back and there was a bad fishtail effect out of the U turn, every lap I was hitting 50kph on the back straight.

Elite C grade
Tim LLL got 2 flats plus a broken pump on the way down and missed the start of the race.

i got down there at 11:30, it took longer than I thought and you were on earlier than I expected. Still, I stayed for the races and was amazed at how fast they were riding. I'm about a third of the way through processing the pics.
