Haha. Quite a number of obvious breaches to fundamental scientific tenets, I'm not sure any educated person would be fooled. Having said that, I do remember when people believed the newspaper article about the Italian spaghetti crop failing one year!

I remember a few years ago Cycling News ran the April 1 newsflash that the Prologue of the Tour would start in Dubai, for the first time out of Europe with the finish line up the ski ramp on the indoor ski field.

It was well written with all the official quotes and other info, and very convincing.
