I've started building wheels cheaply as a way of gaining pratcice before I go over to the US to be certified as a mechanic and wheel building at the United Bicycle Insitute in Portland.
I've just built these wheels:
Rim: Velocity A23, Black
Hub: Shimano 105 5700 (32h front and 32h rear)
Spokes: Sapim Race (double butted), 294mm & 292mm
Nipples: Sapim Polyax, 12mm, brass
Pattern: 3-cross
Weight: 1900g (860g front & 1040g rear)
The wheels are on sale at Glow Worm Bicycles ($150 front wheel, $200 rear wheel)
For more info see:

Good quality training wheels
Btw: I've just changed the prices if you want to buy either of them individually.
If anyone is looking to get their own special wheelset built up send me message and and I'll be happy to help. At the moment I'm just trying to get as much wheel building experience as possible.
