The lock's cables hide inside your seat post so they're always with you and never in the way!
Downsides: weight and cables knocking around inside your down tube. Upsides: never forget your lock.
Check it out here.
This Vamnoof bike does something similar, but needs an extra tube to do the job which of course means lots of weight.

Clever and neat. But remove the seatpost and the bike is no more. Need to use one of those security bolt for the seatpost collar. Then again, one still needs to carry a U-lock to be secure.
The cable still wraps through the frame and also the wheel if you want it to, so removing the seat post would not mean you lose your bike.Clever and neat. Looks pretty cool to me, perfect for the commuter.
Guess it depends on how you wrap the cable. But as been advised, cables are easy to chop through and that U-lock is still needed. I agree, good for those low risk scenarios.
