Gran Fondo Question

I am looking to go in the up coming Gran Fondo in Shoalhaven, late September.
On the site it has timed and untimed rides. If I choose a timed ride does that mean it is a race? Or are these rides like the B2B?
Thanks P.

It means it's a "timed event" which is just like B2B. There may be prizes for the fastest individual time, but it's not a race. The implications of this mean:
- you don't need a Gold licence to ride;
- as a consequence you will pay insurance in the entry fee.

You can still ride as fast or as slow as you want, although there probably will be a cutoff time that you need to be inside.
