DHBC Centenary activity ideas

Just thought of it whilst chatting with MikeC.

How about organizing a proper century ride (ie. 100 miles) as part of the Centenary celebration? To minimise organizational hassles, maybe it can be a simple picnic at the end of an interesting century route, without route supervision. On the other end of the scale (AFAIK there are no named century rides in or around Sydney), maybe this can be continued into something more permanent? Maybe something that completing riders can have their name and time listed permanently on our web site. Or something along the line of a charity ride.
