Just a quick reminder, if I am taking part in these rides, expect to leave at 6am (or a minute past) on the dot.

I confirmed today that my watch is pretty accurate to the real time, if anything it is a little slow (as in less than a minute).

So, if you plan on getting there pretty much as we roll out, make sure that you time piece is accurate.

Further, Geoff and I don't need to come up with any excuses, or Fred who joined us at the entrance at Audley, but I am looking forward to the others...

That is before sunrise so I will put the lights on.

If I am late then there is always the 6.30 start.

For safety reasons we ask anyone participating at 6am start to have a front and back light. Cheers.

I need to be back before 9.30am so will leave with the 6 am bunch and turn around at Waterfall.

Cheers

btw: Three reasons why it is also recommend that you rug up tomorrow morning.

Bottom of Waterfall
Flat Rock Creek
Audley Weir

If you expect tomorrow mornings temp to be similar to today's, then it will be cold.

Based on James form last week I think he needs a head light and the rest of us need tail lights :D

Woke up, heard rain, saw that the ground is quite wet, checked the radar and saw that there is more heading this way.

Sorry guys, I might see you next week.

Hi I would of gone with the 6.30 crew - no go as the road is wet - I'll let it dry and go later

There's not a lot of rain, just off the coast, just enough to get in the way of riding

The cooler temps of the last few days doesn't help.

i was planning to get out there, but of course, woke up, heard rain, and rolled over to sleep a few more hours. Might go through RNP on sunday if my knee isn't sore (from the penny crash), but i have to test it out first.

We had a pretty good turn out this week, 7 riders, including Michael who was in his first RNP Ride.

Hope you enjoyed it Michael.

Due to the way that March hits the weeks, there are 5 Sundays this month, so there is a three week gap until the next RNP Ride.

The RNP in Audley / exit Waterfall was fantastic. I found this way to suit me more than in at Waterfall. Thanks Jimmy and the team for the chats and encouragement.

Well done to all the RNP newbies. You might need a day off to recover after an RNP ride.

Congratulations to Mick,

He not only got 2nd place at Heffron Park in E grade yesterday, but he backed up for RNP - great effort.

He did well and will some towing by James F towards the end, wasn't too far behind us at regroup points.

There were some classic comments uttered by Mick at various critical points on the ride.

Top of Audley Hill after a short wait.

Somone: "Mick, you'll need a bit of a break. We'll wait another minute or so."
Mick: "Na, let's get going, and get it over with!"

At base of turnoff back up the 4km hill to Waterfall were we regrouped.

Mick flying down the hill to us: "That is so xxxx'en aaaaaawwwwwsome!"

Me: "Another Happy customer."

James C: "He's coming back next month!"

At top of Waterfall Bridge

Mick: "Did you see that large bunch of The Steam ride down the hill. One of them went down - you should have heard the sound of metal hit the road"[/i]

I don't think i did any real towing, i just slowed down because there was someone behind so i didn't have to punish myself too much. My body was having a bit of a hard time today.

5 Starters at Marrickville this morning, because of the weather we decided that it was a bit risky to go through the park, so we just did Waterfall instead.

Also, can one of the other moderators update this thread title after the next two rides. I am away and won't be able to do it myself.
