Ha ha, lucky you weren't on your fixie
47T chain ring and 24T cluster doesn't work up Audley. No excuse next time.

Amy, early on in Petersham. Vision was blocked by traffic, but her hair gave it away

I also saw Amy last week on Enmore Road. Was in the car so didn't want to beep and scare the life out of her...

Spotted a neighbour (from across the road) rolling in from the adventure ride this afternoon whilst I was doing spot of gardening out the front. Didn't realise he is a DH member! Must go over and say hello now!!!

Driving at 5:30 this morning I noticed a DHBC rider turning right at the corner of City Rd and Cleveland St. However, as it was so dark I could not see who it was. I would suggest to him, however, given it was so dark, that he purchase some rear lights for his bike. He is lucky that I, and the other drivers around me, could see him. Not to mention the fact that he had to merge across 3 lanes to turn right.
I did feel a bit for him though as it started pouring with rain minutes after I passed.

Just spotted Kazie waiting to cross Parramatta rd near burwood. He was sporting a bandana in what I can on assume was a tribute to the late Pantani.
A DH jersey this morning 8am on Union st heading towards the city. I was running far too late at the time to say hello, or see who it was.

Very likely me commuting Geoff... Ridiculous time of the morning and on my way to work, hence the backpack. Knew it was a good idea to put my DHBC jersey on.
Speaking of which though, what were YOU doing up at 545am?

Spotted Marian and Geoff too today at about 1pm. Crossing at lights on Gardiners Road, next to Bunnings Mascot. Both wore identical bright orange rain jackets. Was bucketing down at the time. Ironically on the way to pick up a new acquisition - vintage 'Bob Jackson' UK touring bike.

Photos please. I've always liked Bob.Spotted Marian and Geoff too today at about 1pm. Crossing at lights on Gardiners Road, next to Bunnings Mascot. Both wore identical bright orange rain jackets. Yep, no probs with photos, but want to set it up first. Looks like a late 70s or early 80s bike but missing its Shimano 600 arabesque derailleur and down tube shifters. Wheels and new tyres have to be sorted out too. Uses 27 inch wheels. Will post in the Vintage bike forum.
How good is this?
Via the website contacts (thanks Simon S for fixing this just yesterday!) a message titled "Rumilly"
"hello yesterday i see your jersey at rumilly france for the dauphine me i was at geelong in 2010 bye"
from a chap in France.

Sent to me from a colleague this morning - the Middies bunch in some traffic.
Channel 7 News is running some hyped up anti-cycling article during the 6pm News Monday 18th July (tomorrow). Sounds like Telegraph/Murdoch Press and Alan Jones style journalism.
But on the promo ad, I did see the glimse of a DHBC jersey riding up the King Street cycleway from Darling Harbour. Who could it be????

Keeps me warm
I think it was me on the Channel 7 promo. Just saw it on their website. Lucky I was waiting in the queue like a good cycling citizen.
The segment was typical Channel 7 trash. Truly infuriating coverage.
I wish the cycling fraternity had a 'Mad Men' ad agency on our side. Even in the UK the biggest sponsor of British cycling is a Murdoch media outlet.

It's a bit of loose interpretation of DH spotted, more like DH spotted through an associate. My parents are travelling up north and are staying at Tuncurry. At the place of accommodation they noticed a gentleman on rollers in a DHBC jersey. They had a chat with him and it turns out he's a track cyclist by the name of Des Kidd!

Spotted Andrew riding through the fine streets of Chatswood on Friday morning...
Spotted Jeremy on Bestic Street yesterday at 8.00am. Jeremy was concentrating intently as he attacked the incline to West Botany Street. I did not want to yell out "spotted" in case Jeremy was distracted and he also had a car sitting dangerously close behind him. Apologises Jeremy for calling you Adrian on Saturday, I had a brain snap.

I saw Lindsay on Livingstone Road riding to work on Thursday morning. But then, I see him most mornings when I am running late given he rides past my house.
Hey Rhys. Yeah, trying to get back on the bike after a long time on the bus.

Haven't spotted Justin ever on a commute, but we have ridden together twice this week!
Yeah Simon - bizarre. I've been going over Anzac bridge about the same time for two years. Think I need an electric hub to keep up with you on the climb....Haven't spotted Justin ever on a commute, but we have ridden together twice this week!
I also met Tim from Haberfield on the way home last night; his red DH jersey gave him away.

Lizanne zooming passed Redfern Cop Shop heading east at about 10.15am this morning. I was heading back from LaPa and Clovelly. In my head I shouted "Dulwich Hill Spotted!". Unfortunately what came out was Arghstumpfcoughcough. Oh well it's the thought that counts I suppose.

Spotted Geoff Semon on tonights SBS World News. Story on dopey Armstrong. Comment by Steve Hogg and image of Geoff with Steve and his 'Seven' titanium bike

Spotted 3 riders, one in the DH jersey and two in black heading down my street in Hurlstone Park at about 6:15 this morning. Not sure who it was.
Last night about 7.25 pm ANZAC bridge: rider in DH jersey on a black fixie or some such - westbound into that awful headwind. Focussed as I was on mere survival, I didn't look to see who it was, much less say hello.

Noog? I spot him occasionally around lilyfield on a black bike
The bride came home last night and announced she had 'spotted' a DHBC rider at the intersection of Parramatta Rd and City rd just before 6am - when on her way to the gym. According to her he looked like a proper cyclist (read, the right shape)!!

Spotted a DHBC member on the corner of Sydenham Rd and Livingstone Rd this morning but his head was down so couldn't see who it was. A defining feature of his outfit was his red Canadian Knicks...

I couldn't work out how to do it on my phone - Tapatalk?yes you can ...
That would have been me on Lilyfield Rd Strawburger. I took the long way home last night it was such a beautiful day (albeit a little windy)...
A guy in DHBC jersey leaving Centennial Park just after 5 this afternoon. Didn't see his bike, only his grey helmet and he had black socks on. Should have stayed for a few spirited laps with the bunch! Not often I see a club jersey in my travels, it perked me up a bit.

Yes that was good fun. Organised by Mel from SU Velo. Apparently they are held regularly and it was quite a swift pace so I'd definitely like to go again. Perhaps won't go on the fixie next time though.
There was actually a guy on the back of the bunch this morning. I'm not sure what he was doing... Perhaps he is single.

I know that Joanne has VK kit. It came out at Lansdowne a fortnight ago.I rode past deus and saw Lizanne etc sitting there. I kept riding because someone there was wearing a Vanderkitten kit and I didn't want to get school-girl excited.
Spotted a DHBC member on the corner of Sydenham Rd and Livingstone Rd this morning but his head was down so couldn't see who it was. A defining feature of his outfit was his red Canadian Knicks...
spotted the international man of mystery this morning 7:05 ish @ the cnr of the cooks river(view street) and Princes hwy. We crossed the road together, and then as i went towards the airport he mysteriously disappeared. Or he just turned towards Brighton.
Then yelled spotted to Stuart and Geoff on Bourke St
whew, busy day
Spotted Jonboy out for a sly bit of training near Sydenham rd. was driving with spawn to the track so I refrained from yelling out the open window and thereby setting a poor example to an impressionable junior club member. I texted "spotted!" Instead. I am a model citizen
1 DHBC jersey rider + 1 red jersey rider spotted around 3-4pm yesterday (Wed 9 Jan) on Broughton St, Concord. What secret training have they been up to? The pair turned onto La Mascotte Ave just as I was about to beep past them...
Ah, should have recognised you and your bike but didn't. Didn't know about your link with CRGH.
