Also as if any clean athletes (or their support teams) 'forgot' to go to their tests. if i was a clean world champ id sell my own grandma to make it to a test so that they didn't take the rainbow jersey of me. missed test is a failed test i reckon.

Yeah it was awesome fun! I rode a 20.1 which I was happy with. My tactic was to use a really small gear and get up to speed really fast - I rode an 86" and felt very under-geared. I spun it out after about 80-100m I think, which was too early. I reckon a 90" would have been perfect for me....

Aero-bars
Another aero-bar question....! I was looking at getting new aero-bars, since mine are dodgy and I think illegal on the track. I would also like (if possible) to use the same aero-bars on my road bike. The complication is that my road bike (a Felt AR4) has 'aero handlebars', so the handlebars aren't ...

Haha yeah I love that photo Stuart! There's a (very) brief moment where you feel sorry for Contador, then the fist pumping for Cadel takes over! I just put it as the screen saver for my computer.... By the way, last nights stage was so awesome to watch! If you heard the interview of Cavendish after ...

Re: Pls sign this partiton 4 min safe passing distance
I see thanks Eleri, I didn't know how the petition thing worked. To be totally honest, my previous negativity is probably because I'm a little sceptical about how much rules like this will make it safer for cyclists on the road. All the problems on the road come from an attitude problem, not a legal...

Re: Pls sign this partiton 4 min safe passing distance
'Clear intent' is not enough when making laws. Clear to who? Maybe I'm a little thick, but I'm not really sure of the meaning, implications, and enforcement of such a law. As such its a little hard for me to sign up to it as is. In any case, if it is to be introduced to parliament, those pretty obvi...

Re: DHBC 100 push up challenge
I think the chin/pull up thing is pretty personal - some
find one easier than the other... for those of you doing
that chin/pull up thing, im upgrading my previous
guess, so I reckon 50 pull ups = 200+ push ups.
serious kudos from me!

Re: Pls sign this partiton 4 min safe passing distance
I was thinking mainly of the two times this year (already) I've had my car run into by a commuting cyclist while I've been sitting (stationary) in traffic. Once on Cleveland St, and the other on Oxford St Bondi Junction outside the AboutLife Cafe. Im just lucky my car has so many bangs and scratches...

Re: DHBC 100 push up challenge
50 pull ups would be really hard. way harder than 100 pushups.
i reckon 50 pull ups ~= 150/200 pushups probably... go for it!
i will be your biggest fan when you can do it!

Have you guys looked at the RAW program for this week? Race 2 is a 'no race this week'
or something? does that actually mean there is no race this week, or is it a very clever
name?

Re: Le Tour de Dullich, KM grand tour challenge in July 2011
i was just thinking that all of the 'sub-points' (so to speak) for a climb are worth alot more than the actual climb. So if you do a 1000m climb you actually get ( 10 + 2x5 + 10x1 = 30) points, which is way more than 10... just wasn't sure if that was what Simon intended when he put the points syste...

Interesting... I didn't notice where he said it was more efficient - I just got that it was 'better' basically on comfort grounds? Might have missed it though. Out of interest I can't see why it would be more (or less) mechanically efficient than a normal bike? Some comments: I haven't ridden one bu...
