How many kilometres did you ride in 2014?

8479 for me. Less than last year where I cracked 10,000. I thought doing an Ironman the km's would climb with all the training but I didn't factor in the 6 weeks off after it!

I loved every kilometre.

Had 2 months off the bike and still made 9000kms for the year. Down on last year but happy just the same. Will try for 11k next year depending on holiday destinations

7711. How did I do that!?
Resolving to kick my Garmin/Magellan/Strava habit by 2050. I can do that or die trying.

4168 in 183 hours (so average 22.7km/h)
down from last year (5163/218/23.5)
(so 35 hours saved, at 27.6 km/h)
(But then I remembered that this year included a couple of months letting a knee get better, then three months away a lot with work, then another month sorting out the knee again, so maybe not so bad.)

12,637km. Take that, Eleri! But less than last year. Boo. This year's highlights were the NSW Hill Climb champs, the Kurrajong Classic KOM, and the roads of Japan. I resolve to ride more next year, because I know my family want me to.
Me too ... my partner seems to actually have a training plan whereas I just go riding 2-3 days a week.~snip~ Next year I want to get fitter without investing more time. Think I need a plan or a strategy or some knowledge or something.
7,760km with a month away and a dash of pneumonia tossed in for good measure. Slightly up on 2013.
10,000km is the goal for 2015.
Goals
TDU - January
Three Peaks - March
Ken Dinnerville - May
Clubs TTT - July
maybe a few road races in there somewhere

Just to one-up you – again – I'd suggest you call it "Male Overtaking Anxiety Response" or MOAR!

5252km. More than the previous year at least. Aiming for 6000 this year, plus some more racing with better results.

9510km for me. More than I thought.
Not quite as many as 2013 where I cracked the 10,000 but hoping to get out of bed more often this year.

How do you total your annual K's?
Every time you go for a ride on the road or track (not spin) you count the kms. You could write them in a little book or make a spreadsheet. Then add them up like this: Ride 1 km + Ride 2 km ... + Ride n = TotalHow do you total your annual K's?
Personally I use a Garmin and Strava just tells me.

So how do you get the annual K's out of Garmin or Strava?

In Strava, up the top you will see 'Training'. Go down to 'Training Calendar'. That will allow you to scroll between years.
If you go to 'My Profile' and go to 'Training Log' on the right hand side this will allow you to see your activities on a month to month basis.
It's a bit cumbersome and probably one thing Strava could improve.

1,328k
Bit of an effort to sum up, copy and pasted the list from Garmin
The only event with an average speed over 40kph is the Sydney road titles. Must avoid hills in 2015

So I did 6,420.5 - 1000 down on 2013.
This years goals are:
Eat more great food & drink lots of lovely Pinot Noir
April: B2B
June: Try not to get too dropped by J & M & J in Spain & France & ride up one icon climb to add to my extensive list of two (Col du Tourmalet)
July: Drive the team car behind the masters women's TTT team
Sep: Amy's Gran Fondo (and a side trip to the new country dining Mecca - Brea)
Try to ride a bit more during the week.

<training calendar>
<2015> but click on the LH arrow so it says:
<2014> and then look to the summaries on the right at the same level.
Mine says
52 WEEKS 538 Hours 12,532.2 kilometers 1084Personal Records 352 Activities.
Quite comprehensive really.

That's a much easier method but Strava is showing less K's than Garmin
41 Hours 1,162.9 Kilometers 158 Personal Records 29 Activities

With Eleri's 11,000k more than me, I expect to see Eleri beating me in 2015
I think we all have quite a way to match this.
