Did you miss out on the Valentine's Day club track meet? Well here's your chance to make amends.
Saturday March 14 we'll be doing it all over again! Gates open at 2pm, racing starts from 3pm. This time we're running it as an interclub event, and asking other clubs to join us.
And as always, there will be a BBQ, mildly inappropriate music, and prizes.
Grades A to D. Juniors U13 and up are welcome to join in, either on the graded racing, or in the U13 category.

I can volunteer wherever you have a gap. Except for time keeping - that sh1t is stressful.

Stressful only for engineers, Jo.
Here's an expanded list:
- Marquee setup, etc
- Sign on, and rider lists (2 people)
- Canteen (and drinks, ice, tea, etc)
- BBQ (both cooking and purloining sausages, vege options, onions, buns) – BBQ needs gas and a lighting device!
- Timers and record keeping (we need about 3 people for timing, and 1 for record keeping – it’s easy!)
- Marshals (about two people)
- Someone with golden tonsils to take the microphone
- First Aid support

By the way, is that a coffee stain on the poster?
Happy to be on canteen, sign on etc. Wouldn't trust my cooking.

That's no coffee stain — it's an inner west watermark.

Hey under 13s! Yes you! How would you like to come down to Tempe on Saturday for a bit of racing?
Good news! We are opening up the carnival and adding an under 13 category, as well as racing grades A-D...

Hot out of the electronic sign on/race record database, here are the results from today's racing...
Thanks to the 20 riders who came down and had a crack, and thanks to the many volunteers that helped out enthusiastically. Special thanks to the Wallaces for solving the BBQ conundrum (the o-ring is broken), and also Ian Carswell, who showed true show-biz grit by turning up with PA in tow, despite nursing a nasty contusion on the forehead.
We ended up having two wheel race heats, with the top five of each of those going into a final.
Points were assigned for participation, and first three places. The most points were won by Katarina Chung-Orr with 28. The participation points came into play in quite a few places, and some people were surprised by how highly they were ranked in the end. The computer doesn't lie, though. Well done to all.
