Looking for a post Christmas Day recovery ride - a chance to share Christmas Day stories in a friendly non judgemental environment?? Then this is the ride for you.
I rode to Kurnell yesterday and the bike lane has been cleaned and there were a large number of cyclists.
Kurnell fast C25/C28 pace leaving Marrickville square/PO at 6.30am. Cape Solander for those who feel inclined and coffee at Kurnell for those who don't. I believe the general store at Kurnell is open tomorrow (large coffee and raisin toast $6) if not and time permitting we will stop at Brighton Le Sands. Bring cash as the general store does not have EFTPOS.
Usual DHBC ride disclaimers and equipment requirements apply.
If the weather is dodgy check back here for updates or Facebook. I will post at 5.30am if the ride is cancelled.

2nd Annual Kurnell Boxing Day Recovery Ride
The residents of Kurnell aren't keen on cyclists at the moment due to the clean up and damage from the recent tornado, you may cop some abuse from the locals. It is such an issue the council put out a notice asking non residents to stay away until the new year.
An option might be to turn around at the power station as you enter Kurnell and stop for coffee in Cronulla.

I'm in for the ride. Either Kurnell or Cronulla for coffee is fine for me.
